• From Boston, take the Pike (90) West to exit 10 290/395 (this comes after exit 10A)
• Meander after toll and take 395 South
• Take exit 97 Rt. 44 Putnam (exits count down from 100 on 395 after entering CT and there is no exit 98)
• At the bottom of the exit ramp take a right, go approx 1/2 mile
• At a traffic light (sometimes blinking) is a sign for 171/Woodstock. Take a right at 171 (baseball field)
• Follow 171 for 3.5 miles into Woodstock (it merges into 169 briefly)
• You will come to a traffic light (sometimes blinking), take a left at 171 West (large orange antique buildings on your right)
• Go 5 miles – when you are getting close you will pass the fire station on the left, a sign for West Woodstock on the right and a “read-a-book” sign (you’ll know it when you see it)
• Take the next right at Bradford Corner Road and stay to the right at the fork.
• House is about a mile down on the right, #193.

From Providence:

• Make your way to Rte 44 from RI into Putnam CT
• In Putnam you will pass the stop and shop and sears and in 1/2 mile take a right onto 171 too Woodstock (at the baseball field)
• Follow Boston directions from the sixth bullet
